We are looking for an experienced Daily Nanny to join a warm and welcoming family in Islington, London, to care for two young girls aged 6 months and 3 years. The nanny will play an essential role in creating a safe, stimulating, and happy environment for the children while taking full responsibility for all related childcare duties. The responsibilities of the role include providing sole charge care for both children, ensuring their wellbeing, and fostering their development. The nanny will keep the children’s areas neat and tidy, manage their laundry, and prepare meals tailored to their needs. Additional duties include planning their daily schedules, transporting the elder child to and from nursery, and grocery shopping for the household.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience providing sole charge care for babies and toddlers, along with a strong understanding of developmental milestones. A clean driving licence and experience driving in London are essential, as well as a valid first aid qualification and a current Enhanced DBS check.
This position involves working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The schedule includes 10-hour workdays (8:15 AM to 6:15 PM) and a half morning on Fridays. The successful candidate should be confident, energetic, positive, reliable, and demonstrate excellent time-keeping skills. The role offers a salary of £50,000 to £53,000 gross per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
