French or Spanish speaker

Job Specification: 

We are assisting in the search for a live-in nanny in Greenwich NYC, with European travel in the summer months for an UHNW individual.

The children are B4 and G8. During term time you would be working 5 days per week Monday- Friday, 7am-7pm with time off 9am-3pm while the children are in school. You must have experience working with other members of staff and be a team player.

Main duties and requirements:

• Priority in teaching and improving the children's English language, as well as Spanish or French
• Teaching the children life skills and mannerisms
• Looking after both children in activities; both educational and fun/creative/sports
• Setting timetables in and around the school term and holidays
• An all-rounded individual who can also assist with house duties, errands and provide meals and snacks as required.
• Working with the existing household staff if required

When travelling the nanny will be required to work 6 days per week 7-7. It is usual for the family to go to their villa in Ibiza in the summer and on their fully staffed Yacht (sea legs required!), as well as travel within Europe and the United States. The ideal candidate will be kind and friendly and a big sister type who will be fun and adore looking after children.

Essential requirements:

• Driving license
• Fluent English & additional French or Spanish
• 5 years + experience working as a nanny or Governess.
• Longevity in previous roles.
• MUST be looking for a long term role.
• Flexible to travel last minute.
• Fully vaccinated
• Non-smoker
