Job Specification:
We are assisting a client of Mayfair Nannies in the search for a dedicated and experienced Live-in Nanny for their 1-year-old son. The family is based between Istanbul and London and is looking for someone who can help promote English to a native level from an early age. They currently employ a Turkish nanny and would love a second nanny to complement their household dynamic. Additional languages such as Turkish, Arabic, or French are welcomed but not essential.
Key Details:
- Location: Primarily London & Istanbul, with additional international travel (e.g., France in winter, other summer destinations).
- Accommodation: Private room with en-suite in Istanbul; shared room with baby in a spacious 3-bedroom apartment in London.
- Schedule: 12-hour days, 6 days per week.
- Flexibility to travel with the family is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Plan engaging activities to support early development and language learning.
- Encourage a structured yet warm and nurturing environment.
- Enjoy outdoor play and social activities, including arranging playdates.
- Assist with child-related duties such as children's laundry and meal preparation when in London.
- Prepare breakfast when in Istanbul.
Ideal Candidate:
- Native-level English speaker to promote language acquisition.
- Childcare qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3 or equivalent).
- Experience working with infants/toddlers in private households.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity to fit seamlessly into a warm and family-oriented household.
- A candidate who aligns with the family’s values and lifestyle preferences will thrive in this role.
