Nanny for Istanbul and London

Job Specification: 

Live in nanny sought for family of 3 who are based between Istanbul and London

We are assisting a client of Mayfair Nannies in the search for a Native English Nanny for their 9 month old little boy. The family currently employ a Turkish nanny and are looking for someone to promote English to native level from an early age. Additional languages like Turkish, Arabic and French are welcomed but not essential.

Working hours are 12 hours per day. 6 days per week. While in Istanbul the family have a lovely private room with private bathroom on offer and in London they have a beautiful 3 bedroom apartment where the nanny will share with the baby.

The main duties involve planning fun activities within the home. The family are very active and so are looking for a nanny who enjoys outdoor activities as well as walking. Kandilli boasts some beautiful gardens and green space perfect for picnics and outdoor play. The family home also has a large garden.

The role is a mixture of sole and shared care, meeting new people and children and taking him on playdates. Mum works part time and also would like to spend time on outings with the nanny and baby. A driver is not required but could be useful for the nanny on her time off.

The family don't spend equal amounts of time between the 2 locations. Sometimes they are in London for 4 months and Istanbul for 1. OR Istanbul for 3 months etc .. There is also other travelling, such as France in the winter time and other locations during the summer. A candidate happy to travel is a must!

Key Responsibilities:

• Live in nanny flexible to travel between London and Istanbul
• Childrens laundry only
• Preparing breakfast only in Istanbul, meals as required when in London
• No household nursery duties other than meal planning and activities.
• Travel with the family as required.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Native level English preferred for teaching English
• Childcare qualification (CACHE Level 3 or above)
• Experience in similar roles with children in the same age range.
