A warm and welcoming family based in the heart of Mayfair are seeking an experienced and nurturing live-out nanny to care for their baby boy, born in May 2026.

This is a lovely long-term opportunity for a professional nanny with excellent baby experience who genuinely enjoys supporting children through their earliest years and building a lasting relationship with a family.

The role will initially be shared care, working alongside a hands-on mother who is currently at home. The successful nanny will gradually take on greater sole-charge responsibility as the relationship develops and everyone becomes settled.

The family would love to find a knowledgeable and reassuring nanny who is confident guiding first-time mothers through the different stages of their baby’s development. This will include supporting his feeding and sleep routines, introducing weaning when appropriate, encouraging developmental milestones and planning engaging, age-appropriate activities.

The nanny should have an excellent command of English and naturally encourage good manners, communication and learning through play. A warm personality, good sense of humour and the ability to maintain discretion and professional boundaries are essential.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm, with an ASAP start.

The family travel regularly throughout Europe and Dubai and are looking for a nanny who will be happy to accompany them. An additional travel allowance of £400 per 24-hour period will be paid while travelling, with accommodation and reasonable expenses covered.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing attentive and nurturing care for the baby
• Supporting his current feeding routine
• Establishing and maintaining healthy routines for feeding, naps and play
• Planning age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development
• Supporting each developmental stage, including weaning when appropriate
• Preparing bottles and sterilising feeding equipment
• Keeping the nursery, toys and the baby’s areas organised
• Packing and preparing everything required for outings and travel
• Travelling with the family when required
• Working collaboratively with the parents while offering knowledgeable and reassuring childcare guidance
• Ensuring the baby’s safety, wellbeing and happiness at all times

A full-time housekeeper is employed, so the nanny will not be responsible for the baby’s laundry or bed linen.

Essential Requirements

• Excellent professional experience caring for babies from infancy
• Strong knowledge of infant development, feeding, sleep routines and weaning
• Excellent spoken English
• Warm, nurturing and confident approach
• Polished manners and a professional attitude
• Discreet, reliable and respectful of professional boundaries
• Up-to-date paediatric first-aid qualification
• Happy to travel regularly with the family
• Seeking a long-term position

Salary: £22–£25 gross per hour, dependent on experience
