A warm, welcoming family based in the heart of Mayfair are seeking an experienced, professional, and nurturing live-out nanny to care for their first child, a happy three-month-old baby. This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for a career nanny who is passionate about supporting children through their early years whilst building a lasting relationship with a lovely family.
The role will begin on a shared-care basis, working alongside a hands-on mother who is at home, with the expectation that the successful nanny will naturally take on greater sole-charge responsibility as trust and confidence develop. The family are looking for someone warm, approachable, and knowledgeable, who can become a trusted and valued part of their child's upbringing.
This is an ideal opportunity for a career nanny who enjoys working with first-time parents and takes pride in providing reassurance, guidance, and expert support throughout the early years. The family are seeking someone who can confidently introduce each developmental stage, from establishing routines and beginning weaning to encouraging developmental milestones and learning through play, whilst remaining respectful of the parents' individual approach to raising their child.
Initially, the working hours will be 10:00am–7:00pm, with the expectation that these will gradually increase as the baby grows and routines naturally evolve. As the mother is home-based, there is no requirement for very early starts, although an occasional 9:00am start may occasionally be requested.
The family enjoy travelling throughout Europe and Dubai and are looking for a nanny who is happy to accompany them on trips throughout the year. During travel, all accommodation and reasonable expenses will be covered, together with a travel allowance of £400 per 24-hour period.
This is a genuinely lovely opportunity for an experienced nanny seeking a long-term role with kind, respectful employers who value professionalism, discretion, and a collaborative approach to childcare.
A full-time housekeeper is employed, therefore responsibility for the baby's laundry and bed linen is not required. The nanny's focus will remain solely on providing outstanding childcare and supporting the child's overall development.
An additional language would be highly advantageous, although not essential. Languages of particular interest include Russian, French, Italian, Mandarin, or Arabic.
A confident driver would be welcomed, with parking available should the nanny wish to commute by car, although driving is not essential.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced career nanny looking to establish a long-term relationship with a lovely first-time family. The successful candidate will be kind, engaging, and highly experienced with infants, bringing confidence, warmth, and professionalism whilst supporting the family through every stage of their child's early development.
