Nanny for 3 year old

Job Specification:

A warm, professional and fully staffed international family based in Riyadh are seeking an experienced and qualified nanny to care for their bright and energetic three-year-old daughter, who has recently started kindergarten.

This is a long-term position ideally suited to a nurturing, organised and engaging nanny with a strong understanding of early childhood development and school readiness. The family are looking for someone calm, proactive and genuinely passionate about supporting a child through the important developmental stages between the ages of three and six.

The ideal candidate will be confident creating structured yet fun routines that encourage independence, confidence, learning through play and positive social interaction, whilst providing consistency and stability within the child’s daily life.

The household is multicultural and fully staffed, therefore the nanny must be adaptable, respectful and comfortable working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Duties Include

• Sole-charge care and supervision
• Supporting adjustment to kindergarten and early school life
• Planning engaging educational and play-based activities
• Encouraging emotional, social and behavioural development
• Supporting school-readiness milestones and structured routines
• Assisting with school preparation and organisation
• Encouraging creativity, confidence and independence
• Organising stimulating indoor and outdoor activities
• Maintaining healthy routines including meals, hygiene and rest
• Liaising closely with parents regarding development and progress
• Travelling with the family when required

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working with children aged 3–6 years
• Relevant childcare qualifications essential
• Strong understanding of early years development
• Previous private household experience preferred
• Experience working within fully staffed households advantageous
• Warm, calm and engaging personality
• Organised, proactive and professional approach
• Fluent English essential
• Flexible and travel-ready
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred
• Excellent references and enhanced background checks required
• Seeking a long-term role within a private household
