Rota Nanny for twins

Job Specification:

We’re excited to help a lovely family of three in Chiddingfold, Surrey, find a ROTA nanny for their vibrant twin daughters, who are 5 years old and attend a local school. The family is looking for someone with a degree, preferably with an education background, to provide wonderful care and support, especially for one of the girls who has Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your role will include offering high-quality childcare, preparing delicious vegetarian meals, managing daily routines, and handling usual nursery tasks like laundry and keeping the children’s spaces tidy. The family already has a cleaner, so your focus will be on the children’s areas. They follow a gentle parenting approach and are looking for a patient and kind individual. The girls are full of energy and love activities like swimming, skiing, horse riding, small-world play, and arts and crafts. Additionally, the family has a property in Holland Park, London, where they spend some weekends. Separate bedroom and bathroom in both properties.  A valid driver’s license is essential due to the rural location. This role offers a competitive salary of £70k gross per year and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the children’s lives in a supportive and loving environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Working 2 weeks on/off, the girls attend school however, you are on call should they be unwell or any duties are outstanding.
- Provide comprehensive care for the two children, focusing on their overall well-being.
- Perform nursery duties and assist with homework (phonics, number bonds, reading)
- Plan and coordinate extracurricular activities and social engagements.
- Travel with the family as required.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Fluency in English to native level; additional languages are a plus but not mandatory.
- Relevant childcare qualifications.
- Experience in similar roles with children in the same age range.
- SEN experience a bonus (mild learning SEN)
- Competent driver and swimmer.
- Proficiency with basic computer skills.
