Job Specification:
A lovely opportunity for an experienced, hands-on nanny to join a welcoming family based in Riyadh, caring for two boys aged 5 and 2.5 years. Both children attend school/nursery in the mornings, and the role focuses on full care during the day, including school drop-offs/pick-ups, activity planning, and creating a safe, enriching environment.
The family travel internationally for 1–2 months each year, and the nanny will accompany them. A driver is provided for nursery/school runs, and the household is fully staffed, with no cleaning or cooking required. The position is live-in, offering a private bedroom and bathroom, all meals provided, and a competitive salary package.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Provide nurturing, full-time care for two boys aged 5 and 2.5
- Manage daily routines including feeding, bathing, and bedtime
- Coordinate school/nursery drop-offs and pick-ups (driver provided)
- Plan engaging and age-appropriate activities both in and outside the home
- Encourage educational play and support learning in both English and Arabic
- Accompany the family on international travel when required
- Maintain a calm, organised, and child-focused environment
- Work collaboratively with other household staff
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ professional nanny experience in a private household
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages such as French are a bonus
- Confident supporting early years development and creating structured routines
- Warm, kind, and reliable, with excellent communication skills
- Confident swimmer, able to supervise and participate in physical activities
- Must be passport-ready and willing to travel
- First Aid certification preferred
Details:
- Start Date: ASAP / 1st October 2025 latest
- Schedule: 6 days per week, 12 hours per day
- Contract: 1 year with 3-month probation
- Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom
- All meals, visa, travel costs, and health insurance provided
- Annual performance-related bonus
